Lauren Cotter

Director of Sustainability Strategy and Transformation, PepsiCo

With more than 15 years of experience in sustainability across multiple industries, Lauren Cotter leads sustainability strategy and transformation for PepsiCo's North American Beverage Business. In this role, Lauren oversees strategy development and implementation for high-priority programs -- including packaging and plastics -- in support of PepsiCo's overarching sustainability goals.

Previously, Lauren worked as a corporate sustainability consultant with ERM, where she advised industry leaders on sustainability strategy and regulatory compliance. Prior to her time at ERM, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay and completed her graduate fellowship with the Clinton Global Initiative.

Lauren holds Master's degrees in Public Policy and Environmental Science from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management from North Carolina State University.
