15TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The Wharton Graduate Retail Conference is a marquee event hosted by the Wharton Graduate Retail Club and the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center. Now in its 15th iteration, the event provides an avenue to educate the next generation of retail leaders as well as to exchange ideas on current trends and developments affecting the retail industry.
2020 has been especially challenging for retailers as companies were forced to either fail or adapt to unforeseen conditions overnight. If anything, this past year has shown retail's resilience in the face of obstacles with the most successful players exceeding analyst expectations and delivering value to end-consumers. The conference will invite speakers and panelists to provide both a retrospective on their keys to success during COVID-19 and a prospective of how these lessons can apply to both crises and opportunities not yet at their doorstep.
